Who We Are
Terra Engineering and Land Solutions, PC is a homegrown engineering and surveying company established by Steve Driver in 2003. Our office in Stuarts Draft opened its doors in 2005 and offers civil engineering and land surveying services across the Commonwealth of Virginia.
We take pride in utilizing technology and design practices that help maintain a healthy and thriving environment for future generations.
Steve has been in the civil engineering and land surveying fields for over 39 years. He received his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Virginia Tech. He also received a VAS scholarship for credits towards his surveyor's license. Steve is the owner and principle civil engineer and land surveyor.
Joe started working for Terra Engineering in 2003. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business and Administration from Bridgewater College and is working on his Master of Arts in Bible Exposition at Northland International University. Joe gives leadership to the survey crew and business administration.
Jake has been with Terra Engineering since January 2018 and has been working on the survey crew. He has done various different types of surveys including Boundary Surveys, Construction Stakeout, Boundary Line Adjustments, Construction As-Built Surveys and Topographic Surveys. He also has about 1 year of experience with tree felling. Jake has a 2 year degree in Carpentry at the local VoTech and helps with maintenance around the office building.
Mandy has been with Terra Engineering since 2013. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from Mary Baldwin College. She has formal training in art design, photography and Biblical studies and experience in architectural concept and design. She currently works on the survey crew and makes conceptual project exhibits.
Anthony earned his Associate of Arts in music and Biblical studies from Rosedale Bible College. He also had drafting courses at Piedmont Virginia Community College. Anthony has been with Terra Engineering for over 6 years and has over 8 years of experience in civil drafting, mechanical drafting and survey work. He provides drafting services and assists with surveying when needed.
